26th Birthday Revelation: Giving, The Real Gift Of Success

Today I celebrated my 26th birthday with my extended family. Last year I chose to be alone and do nothing celebratory. In hindsight, that really bummed me out. This year I chose to invite my family over to my parents' house and have some bomb food (ribs, salmon, veggies, etc). The intention of this event was two-fold:

(1) to celebrate another year in my life with the people I love the most

(2) to raise $250 to cover my website fees for the next year, with any additional money going towards my food and gas expenses

The party was a success on both fronts. I am extremely grateful and blessed. Cannot say this enough.

As I was counting the monetary gifts people gave me, I was present to a key insight that will  only increase my focus and effort towards ultimate success: I will give back a billion-fold what others (and God/Universe) have given me.

For every $100 that someone has given me, I will give back $10,000. For every meal covered, a whole feast. These people have given to me when they did not have to, for basically nothing in return. They hope I do something good with my life and reach success, sure. But they give nonetheless, not knowing with full certainty the end result of Gabe.

I promise, I fucking PROMISE, that those who've supported me from Day 1, as well as anyone who joins along the way, that your support and giving will be well worth it. I will make you right in your predictions. I will create the future you and I both know is where I'm headed.

To be mega successful is not for just for me. It is for everyone around me. I will one day be the one to give in abundance, without expecting anything return. The most I can give now is my attention, time, and emotional support. Of which I know is of great value in itself.

Still, I promise I will provide the financial and material abundance, on top of the emotional and spiritual abundance, that will make your unconditional love and support worth it.

Thank you. We move forward!

p.s. I cancelled my Xbox Live subscription today. I will now have $10 a month to go toward food or gas, as well as additional time to use more productively. #gottadowhatyougottado
