As you go through this article, and as you go on with your life, remember this:

Quality Questions = Quality Solutions

Crappy Questions = Crappy Solutions

Example: Weight Loss and Fitness Goals

Let's say you're 20 lbs overweight and tired of it. You decide that you want to be 15% body fat and run a 7 minute mile. However, you're uncertain in your ability to achieve this as it's been over a year since you exercised consistently, and even then, you've always quit at around the one mark and never seen the fruition of your weight loss and fitness goals.

An understandable, but still crappy question to ask is: "How can I lose 20 pounds, be 15 % body fat and run a 7 minute mile?"

The answers that come to mind are something like:

  1. run/jog 3-5 times a week
  2. eat salad once a day
  3. cut out soda
  4. track progress on a weekly basis

A better, creative, quality question could be something like: "How can I easily and joyfully GUARANTEE that I WILL be 15% body fat, be at a healthy weight, and run a 7 minute mile, all in a way that is fun, easy, enjoyable, and feels like I'm just living and not even exercising?"

Notice how words like "easy" and "guarantee" and "I will" immediately open up answers that were not there in the previous questions. Things like:

  1. find a group of people, or a professional, whose goals, intentions, and energy match what you're seeking

  2. find alternative ways to get cardio in that are centered around fun as opposed to exercising for exercise sake. Things like: playing basketball, jumping rope, hula hooping, walking dogs, hiking, biking next to the beach, etc.

  3. hire a Life Results Coach to not only hold you accountable, but support you through the emotional highs and lows, as well as the psychological and spiritual road blocks

  4. partner with someone who's already been through your journey and used a process that you will enjoy and is easy to your liking

As you can see, just by transforming the quality of your questions, you will transform the quality of your answers, and thus transform the quality of your results!
